Natalie's 3D ultrasound!

We went to Natalie's ultrasound today and it was great! I really enjoyed it a lot. She was really uncooperative at first. She was facing my spine and once we got her to move, she kept putting her hands up on her face. She also is folded in half, with her feet up by her head! She likes to rest her head on the placenta as if it's a pillow. lol She yawned a few times during the ultrasound, so she was definitely comfy! Towards the end, she started waking up more and we got a few more face shots. The umbilical cord was right near her face, so sometimes it was hard to get a shot of her face w/o it being a little obstructed, but not too bad. The DVD is great, too! AND we got a teddy bear that they record her heartbeat on. It's really a neat keepsake to pass down to your child later on. I love it. :)

Here are some pictures. I have included each original picture along with the same exact picture with an explanation of where things are since I know some of you aren't used to reading ultrasounds. The duplicate with a 'map' of where everything is is just below the original picture. TO VIEW BIGGER, CLICK ON IMAGE..

Baseball Game!

We took the kids to their first baseball game tonight! It was fun. The kids had a really good time. I think they really liked being so close to the field. They didn't even know that you could actually go see the Cardinal's play baseball. I think they thought it was only on TV. lol

New baby bedding

Here's the crib bedding I bought for Natalie. It's sooo precious. I love it. I haven't bought the mobile or diaper stacker yet, so i'll have to get those soon.

She won't have her own room for us to decorate, so it makes me happy to at least be able to decorate her crib and create a special area of our room for her. As she gets older she and ally will room together. I never wanted to room two kids together, but with Natalie being a wonderful suprise and not being able to sell our house last year it's really our only option. I imagine we'll move in a couple of years, so they probably won't have to share a room forever. And i do believe that today's society is spoiled. My mom was one of 4 kids in a very small house when she was little. So you just make it work. :)

Here's a picture of her bedding.

24 week belly

So since so many people keep asking me, i have taken a picture of my belly. I was so sick in the beginning, that it took me a long time to start showing. I still feel like i'm not showing that much. Not to mention the rolls I still have that diguise my baby belly. lol

She's kicking more now than she was a few weeks ago. She's still not as active as ally or tommy, though. She's still got time. :)

We get our 3D/4D ultrasound on September 25th. It's a gift Matt is giving me for our anniversary. Yes, i know...it's not jewelry or chocolates, but it's what I really wanted. This will be our last baby, so i want to do something memorable. This ultrasound place is really neat. We will get 8 prints, plus the entire CD of images, a DVD video, and a teddy bear that plays Natalie's heartbeat when you press it. My mom is going to make a sweater for the teddy bear to wear so that it can be an heirloom that is passed down to Natalie someday.

Natalie's repeat ultrasound

Today we went back in for a 2nd "big" ultrasound. Last time, they couldn't get all views of the heart and spine. Today, she was much more cooperative and the tech was able to get all images. Her heartrate was 141bpm. The OB met with us after reviewing the u/s and said that everything looks perfect! :):):)
Thanks for the prayers! :)
