My sweet Ally is 6 yrs old!!!

I can't believe that 6 yrs ago, my little angel was born! She was born on October 13, 2002 at 9:07pm. She weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 19 inches long.
Sorry about the picture quality on these next four pictures. Many of you may not know, but the digital camera broke at the hospital on the 2nd day. Luckily, i had a film camera as a backup and surprisingly used both the digital and film camera just in case something happened. So the only pictures i have of ally in the hospital are from film and i had to scan them to get them on here, hence the poor quality. As upset as i was that we lost all our pictures from the digital camera at the time, i was SO thankful that i had the back up camera.

Here she is with me after she was born. Picture quality aside, she really was that color! She had my dad's side of the family's Native American coloring, and kept it for a little while.

Here she is with Matt after she was born.

First day home!

Here she is in her baptism dress that mom made her. The Baptism was December 1, 2002. She was 7 weeks old.

And here she is at 6 yrs old! Our family of (almost) 5. Natalie is due to arrive in about 2 months. Ally's SO excited to be having a little sister, as is Tommy! They ask me almost every day how many more days are left until she gets here.

Now she is 6 yrs old, 37lbs and 45 inches tall. Time really has flown - it almost passes you by and then all of the sudden you realize all of the things you've been through as a family, all the things your "baby" has accomplished, how much she has learned, etc. I just can't believe she's getting so big!!!

She is in Kindergarten and doing awesome. She loves school. Her teacher is great and she's made lots of new friends! She loves to learn, play games, write, and color. One of her favorite things to do is color pictures of she and I together holding hands. She draws hearts all over the page and writes, "I love you" at the top. I keep all of her drawings on the fridge for about a month and then they go in a scrapbook for us to look at when she's older so we can make room for the next set of pictures she'll make. She loves Disney Princess movies, etc., more than anything else. She loves the movies, toys, t-shirts, stickers - anything having to do with princesses. She loves animals, but her favorites are cats - especially Cosmo. He's her buddy. She is SO excited for baby Natalie's arrival and although she and Tommy have their moments of fighting, she loves him so much and loves to take care of him and show him new things. She's quite the little mommy to him. Speaking of being a little mommy, she still loves baby dolls and pretending she's their mommy and dressing them up.

She can tie her shoes as well as double knot them herself. She actually learned that last year, but she has perfected it now. She can ride her bike without training wheels. Her latest thing that she loves to do over and over is to draw stars. She's starting to learn to snap her fingers. She loves doing cut/paste projects and making her own books by drawing her own illustrations and one-liners and then stapling the book together. Her last masterpiece was about a little girl riding her bike and finding a baby mouse and taking the mouse along the ride with her. :)

As you can see, she's a very smart, sweet, well-rounded 6 yr old. And most importantly, she's my angel and I love her. :) I will miss these times as she grows, but i'm sure we will have a wonderful journey along the way.

Her birthday party was the Saturday before her Birthday.

Here she is playing with her friends at her birthday party. She had almost her whole class there, plus all of the kids who are close family friends.

Yummy cake! :)
Loving her presents!

Ally got an Ariel bath doll from my mom and dad. She loves it. It changes colors and she still loves playing in the bath. They also got her some other things, but I don't have pictures of those yet. We met them for dinner on Sunday at Olive Garden to celebrate and ally opened her other presents then.
She got lots of neat things. Coloring stuff, a barbie butterfly doll, and much more. I don't have as many pictures of her opening presents b/c she wasn't looking at the camera much.

Here are pictures from her actual birthday. (her glasses broke that day, that's why she's not wearing them).

These are the presents she got from her Aunt Jen, Uncle Rick, Kevin, and Katie. It's a Belle Shimmer doll and Snow White Favorite moments set (like polly pocket where you can dress Snow white in different clothes).

no, we did not get her ears pierced. I bought her clip-on earrings. They are roses and are Disney Belle clip-ons. They are so pretty on her. :)
Her "big" present - a Nintendo DS. She loves it. We got her 2 games - Crayola Treasure Adventures and Disney's The Little Mermaid. Her uncle Dan got her a gift certificate and she picked out "Petz Catz 2", which is by far her favorite game.

She also got some disney princess stuff and a cradle for her babies.
This is Ted E. Bear. Every child in Ally's class takes this Teddy Bear home over their birthday and they are supposed to take pictures of things they did with Ted E. Bear on their birthday. We're on our way to Pizza Hut to meet Grandma and Grandpa K.
Ally and Tommy with Grandma and Grandpa K.

Ted E. Bear eating his dinner.
Grandma and Papa K got her Jungle In My Pocket Jungle Adventure Set. She loves it and plays with it constantly!
Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday dear Ally, Happy Birthday to you!
All in one shot! (or two or three)

What a big girl!!!
